John Birchall May 2004
John and Sarah Birchall are now living in
Salisbury where John is Associate Vicar of St Paul's. We are both fully
involved in the life of the Church and finding it very stimulating. A
longish interregnum comes to a finish at the end of August. Our children
are great - Samuel (5) Celia (4) and Edward (2). One thing to pray for
would be that key ability to say no to the things that need to be said no
to, even if they are good, and yes to what God is calling us to do.

Jonathan
Dawson: August 2008
Minister, Ford's Lane Evangelical Church
Bramhall,
Cheshire
Left Spain (after 20 years, on and off) in 2005 and have since been
working at a church near Manchester. Still married to Susan, and our
children are now aged 15 (Tiffany), 13 (Natalia) and 9 (Oliver).
Ministry-wise, our greatest needs are probably prayer and outreach, in other
words, a closer walk with Jesus, and a desire to see others brought to know
Him.

Steve Davis May 2004
Enderby am service grows (55 + 20 kids)...pm
declines numerically (20 ish) Perhaps more importantly, a thrilling unity
and willingness to serve. Thurlaston has numerical growth (from mid 20s
to mid 30s with 10-12 kids)
Kids are growing in the Lord (dv)....Becca is
11, Sarah 10 (Aug), and Matts demonstrates covenant theology (supports

Emmanuel
S. Egbunu: January 2002
We came to St Peter's
Cathedral Minna on 14th January 2000. Looking back after two years gives us
much to praise God for. We have been studying the Bible with 6 couples for
much of last year and we are encouraged by their response. The Cathedral has
also targeted some villages for missionary outreach by way of preaching and
starting a community help project like a clinic. Pray for help in every way.
Perhaps the most exciting challenge is the BIBLICAL PREACHING ALLIANCE which
I am coordinating. The intention is to use it as a forum to bring together
Bible teachers to learn better how to do it. Participating in PT's Autumn
ministers' conferences and the provision of the Proc Trust videos will go a
long way in helping us to start on a good note. Pray that God will raise a
core group of committed Christians who will take this vision seriously.

Annabel Heywood 27/10/2000
Life here in Oxford
continues to be busy. I am working in our local Parish, predominantly with
people on the council estate. Slowly getting to know Mums and some of the
older people. Encouragements are deepening relationships and one Mum
becoming a Christian. She is remaining C'n but life is tough with twin
teenage boys and a 2 1/2 year old daughter.
Also getting more involved
in women's work, and have just produced a programme for the year. Now all
we have to do is do it!!! And pray more.

Paul Lintott:
July 2008
Pastor at Browning Avenue Baptist Church Hartlepool.
http://www.babc.org.uk/
Still here after nearly 14 years and loving it. Church brings real
encouragements and real challenges. Pray that we will remain united in our
passion for the Lord Jesus and his glory.
Ben has come to work for us as a church as Youth Worker. Pray for his
busy schedule and many opportunities.
Family seem to be doing well, four children: Skye, Calvin, Talitha and
Owen. Yes I did name Calvin after John
Calvin and Owen after John Owen; sad eh?

McNeely: January 2002
These days I pass my time being Manager of Student
Services at Goldsmiths College, Uni of London which I love. My role involves
running an advice service for students, including helping out with
financial advice, as well as ensuring that the rest of the non-academic welfare
provision is appropriate and responsive to students needs.
I've been going to Emmaunel, Wimbledon for the last 2
years and am a Pathfinder leader - a role that I am learning a lot
from and managing to have quite a laugh with too. I still do Pathfinder
camp with Rev Davies which keeps me good!
I still love working with students and did some talks
on a College CU weekend away last year - its something that I would
like to continue to do but at the moment it seems that God has things for me
to learn from the 11-14 age group.
Cornhill seems like a lifetime ago but the lessons
learnt and the friendships made live on and for that I thank God."

Andy Nicholls:
January 2002
Our
big news is that Silas George Nicholls was born on 5th October 2001. He is
brilliant, handsome, clever, sleeps wonderfully and smiles all the
time....(yawn.....)
The
third year at Oak Hill is half way through - I'd very much like to do an MA
but seriously need to get my act together to (a.) decide on a dissertation
and (b.) get some money for it! This is a fabulous college - immense
privilege. Then I'll be looking for a job, I guess.
Silas
and, more recently, my mother's death have added a whole lot more factors in
to the daily schedule. Need to return to carving out time with the Lord, and
to living every moment for him above all.
We
remain at Enfield Free Church and will be doing a bit more there
this year as my placement. Johnny Prime is a great example as pastor, and
the elders are a very good bunch. We're getting to know people there, and
are very glad we don't have to move on to a new place each year.

Prior: 22/9/2000
Just a short note to say that much has been happening in
our lives at this time and would appreciate prayer.
Judith and I have come to the conclusion that it is right
for us to now leave St James. We are considering a number of options
including returning to the UK. Please pray that we will find an opening
where we can be useful in ministry, be it either here in SA or back in the
UK.

Nat
Schluter: 4/2007
Nat has had an encouraging start
to the year. The college continues to grow, with 40 students enrolled this
year. There are also a number of new people engaged in teaching on a regular
basis – so lots of work to do! He has increasing numbers of Sunday preaching
opportunities at other churches, and cannot take everything he is offered.

Beverly
Shepherd: 29/1/2000
Greetings to all
Am still enjoying the business world and training courses to Kipling Cakes
(calories galore), Sainsburys, Sun Microsystems and the like - and their
still paying me!
This year I am a participant on the CPAS Arrow Leadership Programme and its
great - the first day they had us absailing down cliffs. The survivors then
get to look at leadership, evangelism and character development! Its a
great opportunity to re-evaluate where you are at and to gain vision for the
future. Missions with Springboard and UCCF continue causing both joy at
what God does and heartache with his Church.
love, Bev

Andrew Upton: May 2004
Still at Knighton Evangelical Free Church in
Leicester as Pastor. Been here for the full ten years since leaving CTC
and enjoying it very much. Life is never boring. Been joined in the last
year and a half by Graham Beynon as Associate Pastor and we'd love to see
a church planted nearby some time this year. Fiona Hamilton, an ex CTCer
is also a member of staff. Steve Davies is now just down the road as
pastor of a couple of Leicestershire churches. Great friend and good to
work with him on some things.
Had a pretty tough last year, 13 people in
the fellowship died in space of six months. Pretty unusual. It also
included an ex pastor and an ex staff worker as well as a current staff
worker. John was 68 but as healthy as they come and a father figure in
the church. He died very suddenly of heart problems. Great shock to the
church who were feeling pretty black and blue by this stage, great
personal shock to us. John was a dear friend. Do pray for his widow,
Marge.
Family are doing well, Carol hasn't gone back
to employed work as my Mum has moved into a kind of annexe her. She was
becoming increasingly poorly so it's been good to have her close by.
David (7) is enjoying school, Beth (4) wishes she were there. How things
will change!
